On a keto diet, you want to have lots of fats and proteins while reducing your carb intake. Cabbage fits the bill, it is low in calories with an impressive nutrient profile.

The Red Cabbage Steaks

Preheat the oven to 375° F.

Then, slice the cabbage into ½-inch thick steaks. This works best if you start at the top of the cabbage and cut all the way through, leaving the core intact.

Next, add the vegetable broth to the bottom of the baking dish, then place the cabbage steaks onto the dish.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, sliced chili pepper, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Then, brush the oil over the red cabbage steaks.

Finally, bake in the oven at 375° F for 20-30 minutes or until crispy, but tender.
