Oven Roasted Red Cabbage Steaks
Slices of thick red cabbage topped with garlic & rosemary, then oven baked till crispy but tender. This easy recipe is perfect for anyone on the keto diet.

The Red Cabbage Steaks
Preheat the oven to 375° F.
Then, slice the cabbage into ½-inch thick steaks. This works best if you start at the top of the cabbage and cut all the way through, leaving the core intact.
Next, add the vegetable broth to the bottom of the baking dish, then place the cabbage steaks onto the dish.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, sliced chili pepper, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Then, brush the oil over the red cabbage steaks.
Finally, bake in the oven at 375° F for 20-30 minutes or until crispy, but tender.
Cabbage is often overlooked, other than cabbage rolls, people aren't sure how to incorporate it into their dishes. It's a shame because cabbage has many important vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Hopefully, now, this recipe has given you another way to enjoy cabbage.
